great color and set-up. for some reason it reminds me of one of those puzzles that say "choose what doesn't belong". In this case, I think I'd choose the purple. Makes you stop and think, doesn't it. I like it a lot.

i read soczi's comment and i have to differ from this end. i think that little portion of the tree adds to the ability to see some depth of field and also alligns with the angle of the stairs at the bottom right. sort of symetrical and a-symetrical all at the same time. i like it :+fav:

that's an unusual technique you're using there. it's very effective. are you using multiple layers and then selectively lightening the parts you want / darkening others?

Great shot. Nice technique and composition. I was always a sucker for strong colours. I actually think the tree in the top left adds balance. A fave from me.
