Daily DeviationGiven 2009-03-26Gulf Fritillaries on a Thistle by *boron There are probably a gazillion Butterfly shots on DA, but this one I found really unique than the others that I have seen, often as we say in photography, it is "all about the light", and this shot shows exactly what and how the impact of shooting at the correct time of the day can play. I simply love the warm golden tone of light in this, and how it plays with enriching the oranges in the Butterfly wings. It really is just a gorgeous capture! (Featured by ^kkart) |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Nit picky portion of the comment - love the central flower, the second gracing the upper right edge - not so much. Looks to me like editing this flower out would be "over the top" hard and it's too late to suggest retaking the picture with either a different angle or a wider angle....just a bit of composition nonsense....
